its simple we what basicly railroaded, there are some of us who can log on but cant play some of us who cant even log on simply because of these little words "NVIDIA® GeForce® GTS 450 / ATI® Radeon™ HD 5870 or better." Explaining what a better video card is spiting hair. We all love our video cards which is why we brought them soley because they were the better video care. but if you look in to the fine print you notice what should of been said was "GDDR5 1.5gb VGA or newer" and it as simple as that, if you dont have a GDDR5 1.5 gb video card or newer you will never be able to enjoy the game at all, so with that say. some one needs to start talking about how to get out refunds

Or they designed the game with next gen systems in mind? Something no one seems to understand is games will rise drastically in requirments as next gen games get ported, current gen(ps3/360) are sitting at 512~ ram while next gen are pushing 8 gigs so if you are having issues running this game it's time to upgrade because you will be SoL on a lot of upcomming titles.

you need to just get off the band wagen. this game didnt come out tomorrow, next week, next month or next year. in came out now in current gen. i dont know if they are moving to fast for there own good but they are certainly moving to fast for mine.

Pc's are not next gen, all our games are mostly console ports, which means they are designed with the CONSOLE specs in mind.

there are more people usint ddr3 then are using ddr5 right now as we speak that was just just a lazy way to try to get graphics instead of using real game designers who know there way aroung a Graphics card. but im sure you can already see what kind of programmers designed thost graphics

It would be different if the 6gb memory requirement and really decent videocard requirement were justified by some sort of good graphics or gameplay. But sadly Ghosts does neither. It's just a poorly optimized port designed with ps4 players in mind. I've read it's sort of crappy or expected to suck on xbone as well. I'll just stay away from this one.

"Console specs" - Well, I'd like to see the console that has half the graphics power and cup performance that a good PC! :D ... I only have laptops, but I can guarantee you that even my older ones ar far more superior to ANY consoles out there! The problems are, on my opinion, related to very poor quality control and testing. This "product" was rushed out of the design department right into the stores just to make money for a bunch of greedy shareholders, instead of properly and extensively testing it out to find and resolve all the issues.

Not sure why people don't understand that games are written for consoles then PORTED to pc, this means poor optimization(you have to have a decent step up in hardware here) and other issues related to that. Now that we have the next gen consoles developers have a lot more power to work with, which means pc specs will go up. In an ideal world programmers should be able to optimize games much better and we wouldent need great machines to run games with sub par engines, but that's not the case now, and it hasen't been for the last 10 years.

thats just game makers taking the quick and easy way. thats what happens when you strike gold. they seen how much money the first game systems where making and just tried to mimic it. not taking in to consideration the fact that the put a lot of time and effort to get where they were. this cod goes to shoe bigger better hardware cant and wont replace simply knowing how to work your way around video card

i actually just started playing on my pc, after i got rid of my consoles, i relized i had this pc sitting there that i put together just to play WOW, and i remembers i spend a lot to build it so i started using it. but i noticed there was a lot of bios right away. even the way that consoles have split screen in there cod so yo can play with a friend and pc doesnt. it will change soon. its a new age coming, younger people are begining to do more because we cant depend on the last generation any more. they have the on their way out syndrome, where the wont be around for long so they dont care how things turn out.

Can someone help? i just got the game, i cant even go to the main nenu, not even see the screen it just says "Steam needs to be running to play this game" while my game is on, what do i do?
