Is this game fun?
Yes, blowing airships out of the sky is the best way to spend the afternoon. Heavy weapons and awesome explosions tend to be quite a bit of fun. Get a team to crew your ship and you're in business

Hows the population?

Well i am not bias ,the game is awesome well worth it, its a team oriented game never had a problem online with other players great player base,the tutorial will teach the basics but at this price its a great pick up many hours of fun.

So, how does this compare to AirBuccaneers? I kinda like that buy don't play it too much.

Completely different game other than they both have airships. Guns of Icarus is 100% about combat between airships without boarding or those elements that stop people from working together.
If you watch some gameplay footage from Guns of Icarus you'll see the different focus of play with a heavy emphasis on big guns shooting big ships.

Missed it on summer sale but i wanted it since beta. It was a bit unoptimized and server browser was clumsy but gameplay itself was very good. I bought and DLing it now, will update. It totaly worth it for this price, team-oriented gamestyle is amazing.

Yeah beta was kinda rough, and I admire you for having played the game during beta, hahaha. The optimization of the game has come pretty far since beta days. We still have more work to do obviously, but compared to beta, you should be playing a new game :D Thanks a lot!! Howard

Just picked up another 4 pack on my alt account and purchased an additional two copies on this one to dish out amongst all my friends, the game is crazy fun. There are some things I wish for like seeing enemies scrambling about on other ships if just to know when they are heading to a gun when I am up in their face but, regardless, it's a great experience chasing someone down until they pop.

Showing emenies on their ships used to be in game, but caused massive issues. We're revamping it so it can work in game without causing massive issues.
