The Witcher 1 can't find my save files

i have completed the witcher 1 twice, and i can the see the save files in my The Witcher file, but when i try to load the games on the actual game, the game says i have no save files? Help!

I'm bumping this because I have the same problem. I looked on the Witcher forums and they don't have the answer either. I've turned Auto Save off now and I don't understand what else I could do to make this game work correctly.

1. Files and folders are two distinctly different things.
2. If you can see the saves in your 'The Witcher' folder (and I am assuming you mean the one located at 'C:\Users\(Your Username)\My Documents', you'll need to move them into the sub-folder 'saves' in your 'The Witcher' folder. If said sub-folder does not exist, create it and move the saves there.

If everything is already in place as described above, maybe your saves are corrupted?

I have the same problem and my witcher saves are in the 'saves' folder in side of it
