Questions and stuff

Well, first of all I have to say what the hell have you guys been smoking :D I'm in Chapter 3 and I heard that the game was supposed to suck untill this point and then get better. Well, for me this seems to be worst chapter somehow. It's interesting and stuff, but I somehow felt like chapter 2 was even more interesting.. Even tho it was the longest chapter in video games I've played - took me 15 hours.

Anyway, to the questions [Light spoilers ahead].

I seem to be a little bit stuck. On main quests all I have to do now is either go to the sewers or to the meeting at swamp - both ending in getting myself killed. I figured out I have no way to healmyself :I Is there some potion vendor from whom I can buy swallows? Because it also looks like I don't have recipe for swallow :o

Also, is it possible to make my swords better? The blacksmith guy at Trade Quarter talked something about upgrading my sword if I give him something, but all he does is sells a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ axe.

Can't remember where I got the Swallow recipe from (I'm also in Chapter 3) but it seems like it was pretty early on like in the prologue or chapter 1. I also have a recipe for a potion that is basically a health potion and returns lost health. If you don't have the recipes just look up their materials online and you can still make them.

As far as upgrading your swords go it takes 3 meteorite ore to upgrade them and if you use 3 of the same color you get an extra bonus. The silver sword takes some kind of runes to upgrade it and I assume it takes 3 as well but I've only found 2 so far so I'm not positive. There are temporary timed upgrades for your silver sword though that aren't that uncommon I'd be surprised if you don't have any. They give good bonuses to attacking or defense (like parry and such). I suggest buying as many books as you can, especially the ones about plants so you can gather a lot of ingredients for potion-making. Also, instead of upgrading your sword, buy the upgraded armor instead, you'll need it. If you really want some extra damage, you can just buy diamond dust, whetstone or grindstone from the blacksmith to save some money.

Also, why haven't you had the recipe for swallow yet? Did you even read any book or scroll in your inventory? You usually get the recipe for swallow once you enter chapter I.

I have to agree about the first couple chapters though, the game just kept dragging on and on until Chapter V when ♥♥♥♥ got real.

Ah, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I was just blind. I did find Swallow :D Game got a little bit easier now - even tho I managed to survive without potions from the first fight... accidentally tried :D

I guess I now understand the upgrading.. Sadly I have no stones.. oh well, I got those timed upgrades tho.

I have to disagree a little; I though first chapter was quite cool, and the second one even better. I mean it was good. But everyone just keep telling people that "first 2 chapters sucks, then it starts to get interesting" and I myself would say the third chapter is the least-interesting I've played so far.

I agree with this. For whatever reason I quite enjoyed the first chapter and the 2nd chapter was really good too. The third chapter isn't bad by any means but compared to the two before it I like it the least.
