Get whichever version you want. It's no skin off anyone else's back either way, but as we so constantly say here now - Buy it on Steam, try it, refund if you don't like it.

PC version is running fine for some people but som others still have issues. If you don't want to take the risk just buy the PS4 version, or buy PC version, test it for no longer than two hours and if you're unsatisfied with performance you can ask Steam for a refund.

nahh get it on ps4. pc version is a disaster. it needs around 16-32 gb ram to run smooth. meanwhile you can play the game on ps4 at 1080p and steady 30 fps. you need a decent i5 processor, gtx 970 or 980 and 16 gb ram to run the game at normal settings maye with some of them at high to get 30 fps. which doesnt make any freakin sense at all.

OP - Once again, buy it, try it, refund if you don't like it. Don't listen to the babbling's of random interweb dwellers who just spoout off unsubstantiated tripe as if it's some a "fact" simply because THEY say it. You can see tons of videos online illustrating how the game can run on various configurations, and you can simply try it for yourself risk free. You don't need to take anyone's word for anything.

If you state what hardware you have, we can give you an idea of how it will run compared to the PS4 version. Btw, PS4 version has an awful framerate also (30 lock, and it does drop to 25 sometimes). I actually tried playing it on a friend's PS4 and the 30fps made it completely unplayable to me.

Most PC's run this game a lot better than the PS4 does. Console players apparently just have a much higher tolerance for poor framerates, because they have to deal with poor framerates consistently in most games. PC players (especially those with high end gaming rigs) just have MUCH higher standards for what they consider acceptable.

I've had sessions close to 3-4 hours without any memory issues with 8GB RAM. And i've had only 1 crash over my 15h playtime which was probably due to steam link. Also it's running on steady 60fps with rare and momentarily drops into 45+ range.

I have everything definitely maxed except gameworks smoke effects because i do not like it, not because i've detected a performance hit from it.

I'm running the game with i5 3570 / GTX970 on a SSD. Nothing is overclocked. If you have a nice rig, go for the PC version, it looks so freaking glorious even on 1080p.
