Plays fine.. assuming you have something more than a toaster for a computer.

yep doesnt run on my older gaming PC. runs great on my pos 240 dollar wally world laptop tho. so i guess its not a total loss since i got to play it. i play current REAL games on High or ultra. these crap casual games total kill it for some reason.
your pc is haunted

I have the same Issue and still no solution. I have this problem on part 2+3 of this game also.
Part 1 works without any problems. Do you have a solution for this? I have 3 fps from the beginning. Here a few details of my PC:

CPU: I7 990x
Graphics: Geforce GTX 590
OS: Windows 7 64-bit

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Try looking into HPET. a friend show me how to change a command prompt line in windows 7 and all 3 games work.
bcdedit/set useplatformclock true
this line in the command prompt and make sure that your HPET is on in your bios then reboot your computer.

Its something with Steam.
I can't play this (and most of the other Mumbo Jumbo games) because of the lag....but
with the DRM-Free versions there is no problem..
