[Linux] Hotfix out today 07/24
A quick hotfix to address 2 major issues with TSLRCM

- The game no longer crashes at launch with TSLRCM installed
- Custom VO and effects in TSLRCM now play correctly

Chime in team Linux if you are still have issues with TSLRCM installed.

While I'm not playing on Linux, does the "Custom VO and effects in TSLRCM now play correctly" mean dialogue will no longer skip through occasionally with the mod installed (hopefully for all versions)?

Is there any chance you can fix the skipping dialogue bug (engine bug that seemingly occurs in long playtime sessions) and buzzing sound issue when you use a terminal (its related to the "amb_elecwire_A.wav" file in ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II\StreamSounds\ -- BUT another repeating sound effect occurs oncemore in Peragus when playing as the T3 droid in a room just before the Peragus Fuel Depot elevator).

Thanks again.

I'm still having issues where I only have three resolution options. 1024x768 with three different screen refresh rates. That's all I get.
Hmm. While I don't use Linux (Windows 7 myself), the game still seems to kick me out to the desktop, while the icon is still there, and the program is still running. And it prevents me from opening it back up/Ctr-Alt-Del'ing it with a Task Manager. Same problems I'm having with KotOR I as well.

@TheEmeraldWanderer

I have had this before. I know one issue that caused it was that Kotor 1 was using more than 1 core to run. However I am pretty sure that the Steam version forces it to 1 core to avoid this problem.

You can check to see how many cores the game is running and if it is more than 1 that may be the issue.

Another thing to check might be any apps you have running. I know that the AMD Gaming Evolved app can cause issues, and I've seen other games with software conflicts with things you wouldn't expect (for instance, Rocksmith would crash on launch if I had Adobe Creative Cloud updater active).

Just linking this here so it has a better chance not to be missed (AKA "Do you have a public bug tracker?"):

I've waited with installing the game for this patch and it generally works, but it seems to fail to load textures during transitions.

* When I first went outside the ship in the prologue the ship wasn't being rendered and I had to quit and reload to fix it.

* Then when I docked with Peragus during the cutscene my screen went black after seeing HK and after a moment continued rendering with all the walls and floors missing. Only after quitting and reloading could I see the walls properly.

Intel 4600 iGPU under Gnome 3.

I have very low FPS rate. Around 13-16. Is this me or this is how game works?

I'm having the exact same problem with the same GPU. I can fix it when it happens by going into the advanced graphics option and changing the quality options from High to Medium then back to High again. This needs to be done for each area though...

... and you can only use this fix if you can access the options screen, which means swoop racing is off limits to me as I can't see where the obstacles are. the Esc key only pauses during a race, not bring up options.
