this might help you a little or not at all it's really up to you.
I like them both, really. Original looks good and has mod support, BFG looks good and has extra content. A bit too much ammo in BFG, for me, but no biggie. It's quite abundant in Original, as well.
One can never have too much Doom.
Spot on. I bought the original when it came out, the BFG edition on 360, and the Steam version of the BFG edition when it was on sale over Christmas. I ain't complaining.
I will say if you don't like mucking around with mods, go the BFG edition.
Not an issue personally, I was the guy who liked that system in the original.
Every once in a while someone fabricates a video and pretends it's a preview of Doom 4 to score youtube views. If anything real happens with it, I expect the internet will explode.
If you are looking for a longer experience and want the other DOOMs included, this is the version for you.
If you want the original PC version which has mod support and WAY more graphics options, get the other one.
