Football Manager 2013

Constant injuries.
Is there any reason why there are so many injuries in this game? Its not realistic at all and only makes the game less enjoyable, because every game without fail I get an injury.

Anyone else have this problem?!

A lota people, myself included, have experenced some crazy instances of injuries, the word from SI's mouth is that injuries are at normal levels... I, after a season or two, got out of that injury funk so you may just be experiencing an injury crisis as they do happen in real life.

Check your facilities, if they aren't at least 3/5 stars you may need to lower your training levels, also your training level in general may be causing the problems. Do the players that get injured have poor natural fittness/injury proneness? How are they getting injured, because if its from a tackle there isn't much you can do about it it might just be the other team targeting that particular player.

Its 9 times out of 10 in games. Very rarely do they come from training.

If they're happening that often and they're longer than a week or so, grab some screen caps or upload your save on the SI bug forums. But I wouldn't say it's uncommon to have 2 long injuries and 2 or 3 shorter term injuries in a team though.

My keeper broke his leg but other than that just normal tiny injuries like real life

no problems here...players need to rest after & before matches....

there are many aspects to keep your players from getting injured. Firstly make sure you have world class fitness coaches such as Paul Winsper. Secondly you need an army of physios. And Lastly you need to monitor your players minutes on the pitch. However there will be times where you will do all these things and still get injuries its just a feature of the game, but there will also be good times where you have a full squad available. Hope this helps you

There is a serious problem with injuries in this game it's not just bad luck. In one match i got three long term injuries to thiago, James rodriguez and Micah ricahards. Thiago out for 8-9 months, James rodriguez out for 2-3 months and micah richards out for 2 months. I have never seen a single match have so many horrible injuries. I have had a season where despite the fact that i had about 5 world class strikers and 3 MR's i had to play my CL semi final match with a reserve striker because 4 strikers were injured and all my MR's were injured.

I've had 3 4 injury matches in 32 games. Long term ones too. It's out of control.

Just had a 3 injury match. Finished with 8 outfield players. Great game SI.

it happens far too often and isnt realistic.

I rarely have injury trouble. Once every few games or so. If you are running your first team out in every match regardless of their fitness, you are more likely to get injuries from the 'wear and tear' of the game

Sometimes, old save files may bug out though so you should see if you are still getting this kind of problem in a new game.
