You're kidding, right? My collection is in excess of 30k tracks....this is going to take a lot longer than "longer".

You do realize you are not forced to scan ALL the tracks, right? You can just make it scan some folders with some hundreds of tracks if you want. You don't need to scan all at once. =/

Max files count is 65536 (yeah, small integer value :-)). I tooks more then 2 hours to scan that and than it told me, my collection is too large :-D

You definitely are not going to play more than 500 songs... I've played all the metallica discography (123 songs) and now I'm beginning with dragonforce (in force is absolute caos, I can't imagine fortissimo). I have all rare weapons except the shotgun, I'm almost at the end of the game. So don't rage if the game can't load more than 2^16 songs :)

I watched a movie during the former, and played a buggy poorly-designed low-budget yawn-fest for the latter. Games like Beat Hazard and Audiosurf do a much better job of letting you play your music collection in game form, in my opinion.

Well I've played a couple albums and love this game. Encountered no bugs. I do however want to try those two titles. I got the Polynomial and was horrified.
