[Linux] Freeze On Starting Second World Video
Hello, I had the game freeze on me yesterday. I had completed the first 'world' (the dog), and it was upon clicking the poster billboard leading to the second that it happened. (Strangely, the interior of the billboard was also entirely black, which I assume it's not supposed to be.)

Because I was playing fullscreen, the freeze made my entire system inaccessible, and I had to do a hard reset. Running Ubuntu 12.04, and playing with the Xbox 360 wired controller (if that makes any difference).

Edit: I should add that my video card is an nVidia Geforce GT 240, and I'm using the 319.32 drivers.

Have you started it since and does it give the same behavior or was that a one time thing?

Hello, I just tested playing it again, and it crashed -- albeit at a different spot this time. I was able to continue my game from my last progress. To my delight, this time the billboards rendered normally, and weren't all black.

I completed the second world ('The Teleporter'). Once I returned to the world map, this time some of the billboards were all black.

I started level 3.1, and I was able to play it, but the background beneath the circuits was black (not sure if this is how it's supposed to be?). It was upon beating 3.1 that the game froze. I was left with a frozen screen of my last gameplay move.

I had to do a hard reset of my computer again.

I know the game hogs memory pretty badly, especially in the later levels. I wonder if as he is playing that is happening?

How much RAM does your machine have?

It has 8GB of RAM.

Ha! That's definitely not the problem then ;)

Take a peek at this thread, if you're interested mind trying that test binary?
