Try my guide for some help, it will fix many game and pc issues, and performance issues as well.

Yes but you see, that would be considered your fault, as you had something connected to your pc that shouldn't be there naturally, although I'm not saying at all that it doesn't work for other games that you play and that other games don't support it, no I'm not saying that at all.
That's not what I ment, you took it wrong, everything you mentioned is naturally for a pc, a controller is not, how many times do you go out there and find a controller plugged into a new pc you are buying or in ads for a pc?
But if there are fixes, or if you can plug the controller back in after going in game, sure why not.
Also did you try my guide for some more solutions by going to that thread in that link I posted above and then clicking on the link in that thread to my guide?
That should have many for windows 8, also you should upgrade to windows 8.1, there is also a dinput8.dll file you need to place somewhere, you can find out in other threads on this forum how to do that, should be on the first page or second as of the time of this message.
Here is also a link showing that dinput8.dll file for controllers, yes some need the file in windows 8 to startup the game, although the link isn't in english to another thread.

There's a video on that link about the dinput8.dll device driver. Just a short one I think, can't remember.
