Adding Socket type to Skill module slot
Anyone know what it does? really just reduce the cost? when maxing the module it can drop it to 3 so adding a skill module cuts it by 1.5?

Socket type divides that module type slot cost in half, but adds 50% cost if the module does not match.

For your sub slot, it will give you 15 capacity instead of 10 capacity at maximum enhancement

was wondering about the skill module(red). when you level skill module the capacity goes down instead of increase the module effects. so it does not make sense to add a socket type to the skill module when at max level it will lower the cost from 14 to 5. cut 5 to 3?

So basically a socket affinity (the symbols) allows for a module to half their mod requirement. So you have a "M" mod that has 10 mod capacity, you slot it in that space, it goes down to five

If you put a mod in the wrong socket however, it'll double the mod energy requirement

The blue and red act in similar ways, in that as you level up those mods when slotted, you GAIN mod capacity
