I've seen people still running Tamer in HM and it's honestly not a big deal. OP is just big mad probably because he can't match their DPS or something because he followed the wrong Youtube guide and got baited into thinking a higher DPS number was all he needed to succeed :^)

There are bigger things to worry about during raid fights anyway. I wanna know why someone is running a poison character against a poison boss, not bothering to shoot at weakpoints, or ignoring adds, lol. Someone running a Tamer should be the least of your concerns when queuing up with PUGs, tbh.

The amount of Freynas I see fighting Swamp walker is concerning.

I dont understand why hes mad. My tamer does 576k dps. Thats without taking the elemental mods i have on.

Its accurate, so i can hit the weak points.

Compare that to rocket gleys who spam rockets, cant tell what theyre hitting and dont hit the weak spots causing the boss to frenzy early.

If you frenzy the Frost walker early you aint getting the embers before the 7.30 mark and the mechanic will 1 shot you

I would rather hit with 100 bullets that do 1/4 of the damage your one bullet does then see one big number and feel good about myself until we run out of time on a boss. Run around looking for ammo, or just blast non stop for a whole fight.
Tamer with good rolls, and decent mods does a wonderful job. You can do what you want with a thunder cage, but that AOE dont help much with a bus sized shoulder pad.

Personally, I'm running Eternal Willpower with heavy weakpoint focus and just focusing the knees and shoulders, then bringing out my rocket launcher on knockdown since it's free damage to the face and with Ultimate Gley+infinite ammo, that means it's party time, lol. I can understand why some people might not like using the EW though since it kicks a bit, but literally all you have to do is pull down and you're fine.

The Valorant experience is paying off, lol.

Yeah that dude is exaggerating a bit but you can reach around 76%. Base 10% + 29% from Enzo = 39% base crit, two mods and weapon affix will roughly double that value.

People can solo hard mode with tamer and it is the best weapon with minimal amount of investment. It only suffer from bad scaling since crit is pretty much useless in it and most end game weapon rely on crit and weakspot multiplier. Thundering cage need you to put mushroon in it and at least 3-4 catalyst for it to even compete with tamer. Those youtube videos are not wrong and it also had been updated. People dont maxed out tamer since there is no point to it. You can solo kill most hard boss mode, that is far from deadweight.
