Game causing system restart

First launch I was able to play for 5 mins then my system restarted automatically, 2nd launch system restarted at anti cheat screen, 3rd launch system restarted at the main menu. My system is more than capable of running this game at ultra settings native 1080p (ryzen 5700x, rtx 3060 12gb, 32gb ram), my cpu & gpu are not overheating. No other game is causing my system to restart so clearly the issue is with The First Descendant.

Have you OC'd the CPU ? Maybe an instability is showing itself when it's pushed to the wall.

I have not oc'd my CPU or GPU, there is no instability, games like EA FC 24, Life of PI, WWE 2K24 are running absolutely fine and my system does not restart automatically until I launch The First Descendant.

You need to update your Motherboard BIOS the other option is to set your CPU clock speed to default! If you like to play the game!

I have already mentioned that my cpu is not oc'd and why would I update my bios for a video game? this is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I have been into pc gaming since 2006 and this has never happened before booooooooo

why would you avoid updating your bios that's the real question if you're not going to take people's advice that trying to help you don't waste your time and my time! If you don't believe me keep on wasting your time! Have fun and a good night!

sometimes a specific game, even if it's because that game happens to be bugged or doing something wrong, will reveal a software or hardware issue like when I installed agpu once and black desert began rebooting the pc a few times. I needed tor eplace the power supply, it was once ample, but years old and probably couldn't handle the load. replaced it, and left more overhead, and the rebootss topped.

This game sometimes, regardless of settings, is running gpu at 100% until I get to the login fromt he main screen where you see your character and then it goes to what it should be using after the login. It's possible that's where the issue is, and that maybe your other games just haven't brought any underlying issue to light yet.

No man I am not replacing anything because of a bugged game, I have also seen a post saying RTX 4090 powered system is also getting restarted when game is launched, nexon really fked up

well obviously you don't buy something willy nilly until you're certain it's needed.You go through a process of elimination testing things out until you figure out where the issue is.

This is pretty simple really. If your system is rebooting without your permission, its your problem. There is nothing any game should be able to do to cause your well maintained, optimally running system to completely reboot without your express permission. If its happening its a problem with your system. A poorly coded program or game should merely crash to desktop without dropping your entire system. Since its dropping your entire system, its your systems problem ultimately, whether you like it or not. Sorry. Id get digging into the nitty gritty if this was my system.

Still getting M1 error and system says game runing but nothing but M1 error amd 16 core processor 32 gig mem 4070 dual graphics cars windows 10. I have uninstalled it re installed the game and still M1 error on game launch. was working 100% till now even bought the £15 pack and then this happens. a reply from programmers would be nice on a fix.

I have a 7900x and 4090. Maxed out settings at 4k. No crashes or restarts.

It's not the game, it's your PC. There is a conflict somewhere in your system.

So all the games that I have played till now that are even more hardware intensive like alan wake 2 cyberpunk 2077 phantom liberty horizon forbidden west etc did not cause my system to restart but the fist descendant is causing a restart means that my system is at fault? huh i call BS.
