The Finals Shuts Off My Whole PC
Hello, I've had this issue with launching The Finals, on launch my ENTIRE PC shuts off. It's frustrating because I don't have a bad build. This happened on my old build (3080 gpu, ryzen 5 cpu, 1000w plat corsair psu, m b550 a-pro motherboard). I since have upgraded my whole setup minus the GPU and PSU, so I am now running:
Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite Ice
32gb DDR5 ram corsair vengeance
Intel i9 13th gen
NZXT Kraken Elite 280 (liquid cooling)
And still my msi 3080 and 1000w plat corsair PSU.

Even with my new setup, the finals STILL shuts off my whole pc on launch. So I am thinking maybe my GPU or PSU has gone bad for some reason. I just tested with a spare 1060 I had laying around and it runs perfectly fine now, no PC shut downs. But my question is if it could still be the fault of my PSU? Wouldn't the power draw of a 3080 be way more than a 1060? I don't have another PSU to test on my 3080 but I just want to be sure that its most likely my GPU dying before I take the L and buy a new one :( btw I've had this issue on It Takes Two as well with both builds. So weird these are the only 2 games that do this... i can run any other game on max fine.

Sorry for the long essay just really in need of advice, and really want to play this game lol. Thank you!!

Better write this on a bigger tech based platform such as LTT, however it sounds like there is something engaging your PSU safety funktion, might just be a bad 8pin cable that you use on your 3070 since the 1060 uses a 6 pin. if your psu happens to be modular try getting new cables. Or test the 3070 in a different build /with a different psu. good luck champ!

The power supply definitely sounds like the issue. Check if you still have warranty before you buy a new one, Corsair HX1000 has a 10yr warranty. And I assume you did reinstall your OS with the upgrade? You can also try a different power cable. Good luck.
