JSR .ARC Tool
This tool allows you to extract and pack JSR's .ARC archives.

Download[www.dropbox.com]

Extracting files
You can drag and drop the .arc file over the tool to extract into a subdirectory named with the archive's name and "_unpacked". If you'd like to extract into another directory, on the command line follow this syntax:
JsrArclTool.exe /d=outputPath arcPath
where "outputPath" is where you want to extract the files and "arcPath" is the path to the .ARC file.

Creating/appending archives
You can create new .ARC files or add files to an existing one by following this syntax:
JsrArclTool.exe /md=dirToPack arcPath
where "dirToPack" is the path to the folder you want to add files from, and "arcPath" is the path of the new or existing .ARC file you want to add the files to. You can specify "/md" multiple times. If you want to merge different .ARC files, follow this syntax:
JsrArclTool.exe /mp=anotherArcPath arcPath
where "anotherArcPath" is the path to a .ARC file that you want to merge into your target .ARC file. You can specify "/mp" multiple times. You can mix "/md" and "/mp" as well.

Running the game without .ARC files
The game will search alternate locations for files if it cannot find the .ARC files. All of the .ARC files extract into the CUSTOM folder except MUSIC.ARC, which extracts to DATA\JETRADIO. Using the game without .ARC files is useful if you would like to mod the game contents and see changes without having to repack. Make sure you rename or move the .ARC files somewhere else so the game can't find them and read from them instead of files on disk.

Anyone can do this and share with us the patch?
I think SEGA make double copy graphics on the select soundtrack in the game menu radio.
If they do, we can change the double copy text and put the original one as been not released by SEGA.

This ARC Tool shoud able to pack the files by putting the folder on the .exe program automatic.
Can you do it?
Because is more easy.
We can do this on Custom Maid 3D Game.

All of the music in the game is pre-chopped and already remixed. the only ' full song ' music is on this radio menu. So, you could add the music, but only to the radio. Not the main game.

I apologize for bringing up such an old thread but this is the only place i've seen this tool posted so, i don't know where else to turn.
I don't know practically anything about command prompts so, this is probably a very simple answer.
I'm looking to replace some of the tracks in JSR with other ones, and i somehow figured out how to pack my first few MUSIC.ARCs with this. It took a while and i copied down the command i did. I messed around with a few tracks more and i put them in my folder.
I open the command window in my JsrArclTool folder, and type this in. "JsrArclTool.exe /md=K:\MUSIC.ARC K:\MUSICa.ARC"
It gets up to "Updating Archive" in the window, then i get this. "Error while updating archive. (Value cannot be null. Parameter name : entry does not have a parent archive.)"
This is probably a really simple solution and im just overseeing something right in front of me, but, please help.

Is K:\MUSIC.ARC a file? If it is, use /mp. Use the right switch for the type of path.

No, its a folder. I uh, couldve made that clearer, sorry.
Maybe we could bring this into PMs tomorrow or something? I dont want a whole bunch of people getting random notifs from a year old dead thread.

You are going to have a♥♥♥♥♥♥poor time actually getting new songs into the game; be warned.

The game splits up each song into segments and multiple segments are duplicated throughout various files meaning you'll have to find each segment of a perticular song and then overwrite it with the timestamp segment of the song you wish to implement THEN make sure it mixes properly with the other audio's in the levels mix track as the "songs" in the game are one long audio file mixed together. the game is about 800mb over the actual file size it could be because of this♥♥♥♥♥♥poor programing and copy and paste junk the developers did. -- I really would not touch anything FYI.

So I'm having an issue I can't seem to figure out. Whenever I enter in the command, a message comes up saying "Archive path is specified more than once".

Is this the correct way to write the command, assuming the files are located in the correct place?
