What are your favourite starting mercs?

Do you got for many cheap mercs or one 30k mec?

At the moment I'm playing with Biff, Floh and Bubba.

My favourite is Fox, one starting merc only

I think Spider and Static are a very good couple to start with, because Static likes Spider.
Spider can use every medical gear and Static every mechanical gear.

My favorite startig Teams:
1) Static and Spider, they give each other the moral bonus.
2) Buns and Bubba, she is a very strong starting merc.
3) Biff, Flo and Bubba, three mercs and two of them with moral bonus.
4) Wolf, the best solo starter.

I started both BIA and BIA:Crossfire with just wolf. Just run up to them and pump them full of lead..

I like to start with just Sidney. Uses excellent L85 with one magazine and a the automatic Glock 18 as a backup. On first mission you have grenade launcher and with his excellent marksmanship and high stealth and decent medical means he can wipe out the first mission with very little trouble (20+ mercs)

I love soloing crossfire with "Blood" as my only merc.

I have freed 54% of the island with just Spider. I got myself Meltdown just now. I'm thinking I'll get Grunty later, when the game is finished. Just for kicks.

Spider and Grunty, practically cleared out everything upto and including the military base in under a day. the map movement system is even easier to abuse in crossfire, but its a pretty fun experience so far, expected the game to be worse after hearing so much critique

Maybe I'm the only one with Malice? Just like I would like to start BIA with Bull waving an axe, Malice is also good at melee, and his shooting is even better than Bull.
