EQ and install
Me and the wife are coming back to EQ after long time off. Question now that I downloaded it thru steam can I cut and paste the files to her computer or will steam throw a fit. We live rurally and it took 3 days to download so am hoping we can. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

You can cut and paste it to her comp, but be aware that it will not run directly through steam- You will have to set up a shortcut directly to the launchpad.

There may be a way around it, but I have not tried, but steam uses an "Manifest" system for downloads... it does not actually create or look into the direcory the game will live in until after it downloads all the files to a temporay directory.

Under Steamapps/Common make the Everquest F2P folder. Copy the files from whichever install you have. Run the steam installer. it will detect the files and run under Steam as an inherent app.
