with gtx 1060 6mb and Nividia 382.19 and about 30 savecrashes later -ive finished the Game.
I have a GTX 1070 and NVIDIA 382.53.
Also props for Tanidar to still supporting this game on the forums! :)
Win10, GTX 1070, latest driver installed
I can save before talking to Doctor Grant and showing him the scalpel. If I try to save after the conversation it crashes.
EDIT: Playing the the game in Windowed Mode seems to work.
Edit 2: Nope, now it crashed again. So windowed mode doesen't seem to be a solution.
Edit 3: OK after restarting my computer it seem to work now with windowed mode. Hope it helps other people who have this problem.
If anyone knows anything else I can do, it would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: I found one more solution that worked (well at least for now). It seems that the save bug is starting to happen when you have too many savefiles. I just deleted all my older saves (only keept the two most recent) an now I could progress. So maybe this has something to do with the amount of savefiles. I will test this further and report if i learn anything new.
Edit2: I completed the game just now. I can confirm that the combination of playing in windowed mode and not keeping too many savefiles works. I still had one crash during autosave. So obviously this still can happen from time to time. Hope this info helps others with this problem.
