The Clock - slows down everything but you. (Can throw off rhythm, but can be very useful with practice.)
Up/Down Arrows - Slows down the back and forth sweep of your poosh director, lengthens it so you can see angles better AND instead of always sweeping fully right before sweeping back left and vice versa, when you hit your button it reverses the sweep. (Theoretically, if you were to quickly tap - thus changing from right to left to right to left - you could go in a virtually straight line) I have never ONCE used this advantageously. If I hit it by accident and I have time to wait, I just let its timer expire.
Barbells - Gives immunity to conveyor and black hole pull effects (I often use those effects to "drift" around things so I avoid this when possible as it throws off my rhythm.)
The Lightning Bolt - You destroy obstacles - But NOT WALLS - on contact but your poosh director is always at max power. Use caution or you WILL hit walls. Very difficult to use past 10,000 where very fine precision and PATIENCE is most critical.
Overall, the so called power ups are traps. Just treat them like squares and let them pass.
Love the updates, this game is even more fun now. I still don't like the up/down arrows (which seem to be left/right arrows now) but that's OK. I love the idea of a powerup that is actually detrimental. Whether that was intentional or not, who cares. Still really fun.
