What’s a Good Build for a Fighter Pawn
Doing Trickster only run. Gave him Provocation. He’s Straightforward.

Need optimal abilities tho. I don’t use Drum or Springboard. I gave him Fury but I’m not sure what else I can give him.

Forget what its called exactly, but its the one where they step back and counter an attack, like Hindward Slash or something. That's a great one.

This probably isn't what you want to hear, but: In DD:DA, I used a Fighter main pawn with my Sorcerer, and it worked very well. I tries that again in DD2, and it really wasn't working too well. Even after I optimized the pawn inclination. As I leveled up, the Fighter's damage and his own damage protection, didn't keep up. I ended up switching my main pawn to Warrior, and both his damage and damage protection are much improved. Don't just take my word for it, wait and see what others gave to say. (I'm a competent game player, but hardly an under game player.)

Trickster ghost does the tanking, so focus on damage. No need for provovation as everyone attacks ghosts anyway.

I originally did Provocation as a failsafe in case I get hit as Trickster and the spooky ghost dies. Though I already gave him augments for health, reduce loss gauge, more stamina, and augment knockback. I also gave him the ring for more knockback.

IMHO fighter is not a big knocker, so maybe focusing on something else other than knockback might be better idea.

Shield Pummel to break guards and knock down everything. It's probably the best skill in fighters arsenal.

Flawless guard to escape stunlocks

Cloudward slash to hit harpies and vitals from the air

For fourth I'm not entirely sure what to go for.

Skewer is a strong choice for single target DPS

Full Moon Slash is good against groups

Impact is a good augment for any pawn if you get pawn badges. It increases push/pull strength a good amount (wiki says 50% more push/pull strength), and when pawns get a badge for lets say a Golem/Cyclops/ogre, they will prioritize tipping it over when the time is right. Even my sorc pawn does this to my dismay, and I ended up giving her impact so she at least is contributing more when that happens.
Never use drum or provocation

Airward (Pawns can be taught to use tusk toss into this; It also hits everything but clopes in the face for massive stagger)
Shield Bash has one of the highest Impact sequences in the game
Vengeful has both iframes and works on AoE attacks
Riotous when used with a mace will inflict both both impact and the native element

Mettle
Apotropaism
Pertinacity
Impact
Vigor
exaltation

Until you get Riot use Compass

Grab the augment that increases magic defense from mage or sorcerer. Fighters don't get much magic defense so picking that up will help them a lot.

I'm guessing you're only using fighter for aesthetics purposes since suffocating shroud will take the agro of anything within a fairly large distance so provocation and shield drum (which normally is a wasted skil) are both redundant. In that case you'll want it have some knockdown. Fighter isn't inherently good at knockdown as warrior but you can reach those breakpoints with 2 vehemence rings and dwarven smithing. It can stagger often and effectively.

-Burst Strike: Skip
-Cloudward Slash: Used following a Tusk Toss or over height differences.
-Shield Bash: Used often and well.
-Full Moon Slash: Skip. Pawn's don't have the ability to asses an aoe situation.
-Gutting Skewr: If you've Badges then this'll turn your fighter into a budget thief.
-Flawless Guard: Skip
-Hindsight Sweep: Used often and well but proves problematic in steep terrain since they'll get stuck when rolling.
-Vengeful Slash: Solid milage out of this but not as used often as hindsight sweep.
-Divinse Defense: Skip
-Riotous Fury: I don't use this on my main since the animation is overly drawn out like the shield bash but pawns make good use out of it and it's their only main dps tool as a fighter so why not.

dont use fighter pawn if you are trickster, thats pretty much the job of a trickster to draw aggro

And then lure them off a cliff?

True. Unfortunately, that happens to me more often than I would like.
