Help us translate Steam
Putting Steam into Offline mode worked for me. I have two computers. One at my appartment and one at my parents house. I installed Dishonored fresh on the latter and got nothing but CTD problems after Steam telling me they had a problem syncing my game. Then I tried putting Steam into offline mode and it works though I can't continue playing where I left off. Seems like Steam and dishonored have issues that Steam should fix soon!
-Delete all in game data from normal story, Daud and/or Brigmore witches story data you have.
Dishonored's game progress is saved in the cloud, if local and cloud data conflict, it makes grounds for the entire game to be unable to load. It is a pain to have to start over, that I understand, trust me. But it works, here's how to do it(even though the game crashes)
Step1: Start steam in offline mode
Step2: Launch Dishonored
Step3:Delete all ingame data from the normal campaign to All DLC progress, exit the game and restart steam in online mode(I disabled cloud storage to evade future trouble).
Step4:Launch Dishonored- your welcome(I hope).
