So you can use any weapons in your typewriter storage for s+ right?

I keep getting confused on all the guides and etc for s+ runs and I need to clear it up right now, I just arrived at the merchant on my first attempt at s+ assisted (for the wolfs tail).

So can I use/upgrade the typewriter/handcannon that are inside my typewriter inventory? the infinite knife too? A lot of guides I've been reading say you should sell them as they will prevent you from getting a s+ rank but at the same time I see people saying infinite weapons are fine so whats the actual verdict on this?

Also curious on this, I look at the antlers and I feel like thats actually worse then the wolf tail, you melee so much more often then you knife at least in my experience. I'm considering just skipping the standard s+ and go straight to hard mode because of that.

Yes.

You can use every single bonus weapon and still achieve an S+ Rank.

HOWEVER.

If you're going for Handcannon unlock (Which requires Pro S+) For this specific challenge, you CAN'T use any bonus weapons.

Handcannon requires simply finishing the game on Professional (without any bonus weapons). The rank is of no importance.

Maybe you're thinking of the cat ears? Those are the Pro S+ unlock, although you can use bonus weapons for that.

This. However, you can also unlock the Hand Canon now by getting S rank or higher on the all the mercenary maps. Which is way more obtainable.

Cat Ears, a.k.a. "Infinite ammo for every gun". This is the one that has a "S+ on Professional" requirement.

My goal is just to get s+ rank not speedrun, I'm not looking to break any records just get those cat ears.

Ok true I just don't know what the infinite launcher glitch has to do with me, you can't get in on ng. Also quick question is the gold attache case viable for the whole s+ run? I ask because I worry that Ill run low on ammo.
