fps drop when using scope

that's because they have the scope render the scene twice, of course it will drop frames.

It's because they render a second viewport, essentially rendering the game twice (but at a lower resolution, which is why the scope is blurry). It will never get fixed. No there is no good reason to do this.

Pretty sure the scope uses a render target for its effect. It's a more taxing effect but much more realistic than simply zooming the entire screen in when scoped.

Only way to "fix" it effectively would be to add an alternate option that's less realistic.

that's because they have the scope render those big Ashley ballistics, of course it will drop frames.

btw, this was just an update that adds mercenaries mode, it's not a patch or hot fix so it doesn't fix anything.

yeah just dont use the sniper in leons loadout in merc the fps drop is fkin annoying
