Bought it because it looked like Tempest - score!

So, yeah, I'm old & played video games in arcades because that's all we had, lol. Tempest was always my favorite, a sort of well or tunnel or something and your control/cursor/avatar/whatever could only scoot around the edge, firing down at the various things trying to come up out. Atari has a version you can play online, but it's just not the same without the twirling knob control! If I ever have three grand that I'm not doing anything else with, I'm definitinly hunting down one of those arcade machines.

Anyway. I first looked at this one because I thought it was a tower defence, which I like. It was clear early on in the video that it wasn't, but I kept watching, and realized why shooting things around a perimeter looked familiar! I've only done the first few missions, and I have to say I like it.

HOWEVER, that's all it is, so if you don't care for that sort of thing, I wouldn't get it if I were you. :D
