Using a ps3 controller, can't use right stick to shoot?

I've played this game on the Vita and I know that if you plug in an Xbox 360 controller you can move with the left and shoot with the right Smash TV style, I'm using a PS3 controller with installed drivers and can't use my right stick to shoot ala Xbox 360 controller style. Anyone have any solutions?

I just figured out how to do this. First of all download motioninjoy. After all the setup and everything plug in the controller and use the xbox 360 emulator and click enable. Now open Retro City Rampage and go to controls, select controller, choose the xbox 360 one, select it and viola it should have set the controls automatically and you should be able to use the right stick as well.
