May have found a way to level up fast without having to risk beaten by those trolls

Hi guys I'm quite new to this game, so the problem that I'm having is that leveling up kills my keyboard and my controller. All old methods to get fast EXP using glitches seem to be unvailable on this Steam version of CC. Today I bumped into a game glitch that may be an easier way than farming the trolls on insane mode (which I found very difficult because if your character is not high leveled you may die a lot even before you go to the troll boss).

I was using both my controller and my keyboard to skip levels for new characters (both have already maxed their agility and 1 of them had the sai weapon and the other had Snakey mace). I got into Sand Castle Roof, and fought the first two wave of enemies. When the arrow appeared for the third wave (which is the last wave of enemies before the volleyball), I pressed right on the keyboard and held right on my controller hard so the character kept running to the far right very fast. What happened was that, the screen followed me to the volleyball court and triggered the volleyball event instead of stopped for the last wave of enemies.

Then you could play volleyball, but the enemy team would not hit the ball back. Besides, the last wave of enemeis came to the volleyball court, went to the enemy team side and kept running to the mid line (they seemed to be stuck there just kept running to the left), and they seemed to have infinite health (just as the volleyball players). So I could stay on the left side of the court throwing infinite hits on the enemy. The enemy would just bounce up and down so as long as you keep pressing heavy attack you would keep gaining EXP.

After I had this glitch I found myself unable to repeat this thing. I wish to know if anyone has such an experience.
