What is new with this update?

I was able to play until yesterday, but today it suddenly stopped working. I tried reinstalling it, but it doesn't work. How can I play again?

I click Play, the rockstar launcher starts launching, then it closes, then the button on Steam goes back to "play" because the game didn't launch. This was fine yesterday and I haven't done a single thing. It was a fresh install, no mods, no nothing. Everything in my PC is up to date and the requirements are waaaaay more than enough. Any ideas?...
