Most depraved ruler you have ever had?
As one of the sons of Ragnar I either executed or took as my concubine every single wife belonging to each ruler in the bottom half of England. As another ruler, I took my second son's wife as my lover. Only lasted a little bit. I always wondered what would of happened if they had a child. Their grandather would be their father, but his other son, their mother's husband, would also be their father and in addition their brother. And any children that their brother (aka step father) has would be both their siblings and their nephews/neices. WTF?

I usually only engage in debauchery to protect my dynasty. I remember I executed the 2 year old male child of a Muslim ruler I deposed to prevent any heirs from coming back to take their claim on the state. It's strange the twisted things you find yourself doing to prevent future generations from getting destroyed.

Like every other son or daughter my ruler has is usually married to their cousin. I remember marrying one son to my granddaughter, nasty. I used to wonder why their was so much inbreeding in the middle ages, but I get it now. Family lines changed so much each generation. If a crucial ally to your empire is ruled by your brother, his son will only be a cousin to your son, and his son's son will basically be a stranger your son's son, which sooner or later will lead to a war. Nasty but neccessary.

one time i actually did have a child with my sons wife, my son thought it was his child so as far as the game was concerned the little child was considered a grandchild but i always knew the truth.

Yeah, I had a ruler take his daughter-in-law as a lover and sire a son on her. Luckily, the ruler had better stats than the son, so, while I thought that was pretty white-trash of him to do, as the player I was all Woohoo! He did have siblings from his mother and his brother/supposed dad. Oddly, the supposed dad had a unexplained furious opinion modifier towards his own dad at the time, so I figured maybe he might have suspected his dad and his wife....

Oddly, that ruler ended up with syphillus and both he and his queen were dead within a year. :|

I never thought of it as debauchery, which is another sign I'm being twisted by the game. The early death by syphillus sort of scotched his career of debauchery, too. :D

Try playing the Zorostrians where not marrying your mother or sisters is viewed as being debauched.

Once my king died childless, leaving his sister in charge of the kingdom. She was married to a german king, so obviously any of their kids would be outside my dynasty, and my game would be over. I had him assassinated, married her to the only male of age in my dynasty, her own nephew from a third sibling. Took them 22 years to produce a child.

He was inbred (obviosuly), dim-witted, and ugly. As he grew older it only got worse, being maimed in battle, a ♥♥♥♥♥monger would bang anyone near him, and eventually became possessed. He also lived to the ripe old age of 88. It took me 3 more generations to breed all his faults out of my line, but I didnt loose the game at that point so it all worked.

I firmly believe CK2 is an outlet for the sociopath in all of us. I once married my aunt and had 4 kids with her, 2 daughters and 2 sons, however the oldest son, who was my heir, was inbred. I had him smothered with a pillow. Things were smooth from there.

Sheer accident, but one of my rulers kept on getting lovers and knocking them up (once, a different ruler had the "get a lover" event trigger twice in two weeks with different people, resulting in both of them giving birth nine months later).

Because all of his illegitimate children were born to married women, actual paternity was hidden, and as this was a playthrough where I was trying to keep my bloodline as pure as possible my children all married people within my court/my land.

Completely forgetting who my illegitimate children were, I was happily marrying off my children and some of my grandchildren off to various people in my lands, and ended up marrying three of them to three of my illegitimate children before I realised what I'd done.

That is now why I keep a notebook with the names of my illegitimate children and their parents-by-law.

Possibly the only ever time this sentence is acceptable lol

Hah, I didn't even realise how strange that sentence would sound out of context XD

I think that's the point of STD's. If we didn't have them we would murder everyone.

At least your ruler could get syphillus. My duke of Sardinia inherited the Byzentine Empire through some odd line of succesion through his mother. I kept thinking, this is too good to be real, it will never last. Turns out, about 2 years into his rule he is deposed in a civil war. Before it ended I dispersed the kingdom between members of my Dynasty. Immediatley after, my duke died, and as his 11 year old son I joined someone in my dynasty's faction who was pressing my claim. Long story short, I lost, almost all members of my Dynasty were castrated (all of them children mind you) and now I am ****ed beyond all repair. It took hundreds of years to get to this point (my first ruler was a count of 1 province in Sardinia). There is still a little hope, I have a non castrated member of my dynasty who is the duke of Sardinia -ironically the exact place I started. But man, I didn't even know there was a freakin castration opiton. I wanna figure out how to do it to my enemies!

Apparently the castration option is allowed to only the Byzantines and independant Greek rulers. From what a quick search has turned up, it also looks like an option you can use on prisoners with the Legacy of Rome DLC.

Correct, Castrate and Blind is only available to Greeks/Byzantine Empire vassals.

Also, I THINK you have to be orthodox, not sure.

It's a little typecast. What do we want- equal opp mutilation! When do we want it? NOW. I tend to only use it for peasant rebellions
