When are achievments active

When do achievments become enabled? I started an Ironman mode as a muslim ruler at 1066 start date and I was not getting the achievments. I have all the dlc's besides the sunset invasion. Does start date matter? Do I need to be a christian ruler to get the achievments?

Try send your monarch on Hajj. It is easy achievment for muslims.

You don't. It needs to be Ironman and you can't have any mods activated.

Some mods can be activated, for example those that only change the in-game music that is played.

You can't have any mods activated that change the checksun. Hotkeys and aesthetics usually don't mess with it.
