As title says, he likes rabbits and other nice cartoons like cats and dragons.

Anyway, if he likes fighting games, RPGs, and platformers, then yes.

^^ This, I like the art style but that is not just what the game is about. I would link your friend some photos and videos and see if he likes what he sees and if he does then buy it for him.
