King's Bounty: Warriors of the North

King's Bounty: Warriors of the North

I own all King's bounty titles, which should I play first?
I bought this game in a heavily reduced bundle. I have every game with the exception of the latest early access title. I've yet to play any game. Which game should i start with? Does it matter? does the story continue or are all games thier own isolated storylines?

thanks in advance.

I would start with Legend and then Crossworlds (which is basically an expanded Armored Princess). I've never paid too much attention to what little there is of a story, but the "princess" in Crossworlds/AP is the daughter of the hero in Legend if I recall correctly. I don't have Warriors of the North or the Early Access King's Bounty game, but I would assume you play them in that order, too.

Thank you. i'll fire up Legend soon. also thanks for the info on Crossworlds i had no idea it was just an expanded version of AP.

1) Legend;
2) Crossworlds: Red sands (Crossworlds' add-on);
3) WotN: ice and fire.

Sherlock: I never got Red Sands to work on Steam but the Gift Bag worked. If it is possible for it to work, I'll make further forum searches.

Minmataro: My advice is to play them in order without the mods or addins first. Not that I followed my own advice, I was just itching to tweak things here and there. I ended up spending more time tweaking and fixing than I did playing.

dw0rd: Red Sands works great on Steam's Crossworlds, look at my screenshots.

But I was playing russian language ver., so I'm not sure about other languages.

Thanks, I'll definitely check further. I suppose I could always guess at a translation if Russian is the only way to play.

You should definetely start with The Legend - first game in the series, because of the story (later on there will be some references to the first game, no biggie but it helps if you finished the first game). If you don't care for the story start with the Legend anyway, because the game has great setting, smaller lore than other games and what's most important IT'S THE EASIEST ONE. You can finish the game (once you figure out which spells works best, which units are great, how the combat works, which hero class suits you most, etc. etc.) on Impossible difficulty (only some fights will be very challenging), while finishing Warriors of The North with all medals and achievements on Impossible is simply impossible (unless you don't mind spending hundred of hours just to figure out how to defeat giant spider with no loss...). Armored Princess is slightly shorter than The Legend, but will introduce you to medals - i.e. the more fights you win without any losses the higher leadership you can have (you can control bigger army), etc.

This was very helpful. Thank you.
