Is Tomb Raider a "free region"?

From what I see in the order "Tomb Raider" that it isn't locked in any country. So it maybe a "free region", doesn't it?
Because I have ordered in Russian steam server because in my country Steam doesn't support order. So I have to ask my friend to order for my account. So can I still download the new Tomb Raider when it comes out?
I hope someone would help me to answer my question about Tomb Raider is a "free region" or not?

Yes it is. It is not restricted in CIS countries. Maybe they have forgot it :D

I am living in Georgia and it has no CIS restriction like COD BO2 has got.

You won't have any problems with that. It isn't showing CIS Restriction. You can gift copy of it and play from anywhere you want.

Be careful, im betting this will become region locked in the coming days as the games do have multiple different ID's. Colonial Marines had no indication of being region locked but they finally decided to put region lock notices on gifts and the store page once the game was out.

Im not saying it will be region locked but just take care, if you can - wait till its released - they will put region lock notices up around that time.

Thank you, I will notice it. But with all my hope, I hope they won't do it. Because all the series there are no locked region...

The RU CIS Version can only be bought in RU AM AZ BY GE KZ KG MD TJ TM UZ UA
But that doesn't mean there is an activation restriction.

If RU version gets restricted, you will not be able to play the game - you wont even be able to download it. It will be an unplayable game in your library. This is what happened to me with colonial marines.

At that point you should contact steam CS and they will remove it from your library and put a tradable gift in your inventory though they only do this once.

My friend has checked for me that there is two version of Tomb Raider which are Locked Region and Free Region. And my friend told me that my version is free region. So I hope that will be true. :(
