Didn't like the ending.

So all game Matthias is this huge a-hole, and in the end, you don't even get to fight him? Just push F and E and he's dead? You don't even get to stop the sun queen, Lara just does that for you!

Great game overall, but these people need to understand that we want to play games, not simply push a few buttons.

It would be epic to fight Mathias instead of the last boss (Oni Stalker) we fought :(

Mathias doesn't have any specific powers; he is just smart enough to understand what's happening.

Well, Sun Queen can control weather, but she can't fight against Lara. I know Sun Queen in a weakened state, but she still controls weather; this means she has enough power to defeat Lara, yet she didn't put up a fight :S.

Edit: Correct me if I am wrong about Mathias. I didn't like him and I didn't care about him (I hate that professor too).

the professor was in it for his own glory, and it's hard to hate a shallow man, he was small and they kept him that way, i think they took Mathias to a fitting ending

Actually Tomb Raider (2013) always gave the the feel of 'Lost' (TV series) to me. So, I was expecting Mathias to be a character like Richard Alpert, Benjamin Linus or even Jacob but yeah we never got to that part when Mathias plays his part, what a shame. Through out the whole game there was this tension building up but it never really reached that climax for Mathias :(

Professor's role and Mathias' role were obvious after 2nd camp site. They didn't surprise me; that part of scenario (their behavior, their acting etc.) was a big cliche.

Off topic:

I hate that Alex guy too (Not really; he was a good person and he has many similiar characteristics to me). I have a crush on new Lara (not that definitive one)! I really liked her new look. Old Lara from Core Design was looking like a sex-toy. It took 4 games to reduce her boobs to normal size. :)

Actually I didn't bother that Mathias was so easy to kill, although I expected a tougher fight. :-)
I really liked the game, and it always succeeded in creating a great feeling by building up tension trough the different soundtracks.
The "button bashing" part of fights brought a nice variety and made it more than emptying your mags.
As mentioned before you also bounded with the characters wich made the game and overall storyline even better. :)
