BO2 is influenced by the settings you have made in windows.

Then theres the random bug which increases and decreases this randomly.

i leave the ingame settings as they were, and used the settings of my mouse to set its DPI.

any other cod: 0.5
bo2: 1.0
(with 8k dpi)
mw3 setting x2 would be my best guess..
btw; use other numbers like 6.0 or 7.0. it's easier to set at.
ehm also.. 7.0 for mw3? get a new mouse with more than 200dpi or do you play like: moving mouse a cm > spin 3 times? because that's what i'd do if i set it at 7.0

dpi = highest possible
ingame setting = modify this

you don't want lower dpi, as it represents how often the mouse recognizes a movement. higher dpi = less pixelskipping = better aiming
just saying :)

highest possible dpi isnt recommended. at all, a dpi of 3200 is the best, any higher and you need to do too much effort to make it work correctly by adjusting the ingame settings.

just leave the ingame value as it is, (standard), and buy a mouse with 3200 dpi.

that's bs..
ingame settings are way easier to set than buying a mouse with 3.2k dpi?
simple math and there you go.. perfect setting
twice as much dpi = half sens.setting
it's as easy as that
more dpi = better (even though i must admit that you can't really feel a difference between 2kdpi + 2.0 and 8kdpi + 0.5)

or you buy a mouse with adjustable dpi as any self respecting mouse should have ;) im using a sharkoon darkslider Z, and before that i used a cyborg rat 5, both of those could adjust its dpi setting through 2 buttons on the mouse. the cyborg rat 5 even had a button to lower the dpi to 500 when pressed so you could do precise aiming.

i can set my mouse to anything between 200-8000 dpi
windows: 2000dpi
ingame: 8000dpi
windowssens. at default (exact middle), no mouseaccelleration
lowering dpi for precise aiming.. i'm not going to argue about that x:

i know what u mean, snipers in bo2 move from 1 side to another, so precise aiming isnt really useful.

hey guys, I found my sensitivity, thanks to all, I have a 6.000 dpi max mouse, but I use 1.600, and 6.56 sensitivity in all cod(now I know :P) Thanks for all

Are you kidding me. Highest dpi setting? thats crap.. Professional players are using 400-800dpi with 2.6 in-game sensitivity and 6-7 windows sensitivity and mouse acceleration off (Enchance Pointer precision.

i use max sensitivity

Actually mice interpolate any dpi above the sensor default

You want your DPI to be your sensors default, which is generally 400 dpi, sometimes 250 or 450

You can look it up on many mice sites like esreality or the avago sensor site, my personal recommendation is to set it at the default then adjust in-game until you can do a 190 to 200 degree turn only, this allows precision but speed for turning around

Here's mine for example

400 dpi
In-game for IDtech based engines: 1.7 (blops2 is 2.0 since my fov is higher)
1000 hz
no accel SENSOR (this is not accel via windows, some sensors have acceleration IN THEM, you need to look up confirmed mice that do not have acceleration, mice that DO have acceleration are stuff like logitech g500/g9/zowie ec1 evo and etc
And enhance pointer precision disabled in windows
6/11 windows sens (default)

a mouse without acceleration is a razer deathadder, IME 3.0 or 1.1, or steelseries XAI I believe, you'd have to check the list as I don't have it handy
