I also get the same error message, "Server Script runtime error. Exceeded max number of child server script variables. Terminal support error. Common_script/utility.gsc:l

This occurs when I leave the river and am in the grass carrying Frank.

I've tried going online looking for patches, but none seem to exist as of yet.

Can someone help me on this error? Thanks!

Hello I finally got past Frank in the grass section where it kept crashing with Server Script variables exceeded maximim number of child server scripts, I updated to latest beta version of the HD RADEON driver for the FM2 MB (ASKROCKDGS) with AMD A10 chip that I've got, in the BO2 program under advanced graphics I set eveything to low, and this seemed to get past the crash and worked no problem. I think this is some kind of program bug or timing issue causing the crash I dont actually think the graphics is being pushed as work ok dialled up to max for multiplayer etc...

Having fixed this by installing latest everything bios etc I now seem to get screen frame freezes / "CPU" freezes intermittently (I can hear sound but everything else seems to stop) dialling down doesn't fix this and wasn't there when I first installed on Windows 7 64bit seems to happen on Windows 8 as upgraded to it... one problem solved another on begins...

Found the source of the freezing CPU its was windows audiodg.exe process going 60% CPU at random and causing BO2 to freeze have gone into sound right click properties playback settings turn off all enhancements... LOL
I have the same problem. Any fix?

Yeah I spoke to AMD support on their website they sent me to a link to a blog basically you have to uninstall everything around you graphics card and start from scratch installing it once everything is removed (and deleted old drivers and install directories, registery entries etc).
completely harder than it looks. See this link.

"For the last step for troubleshooting, please use a clean utility to remove existing graphic files completely including the delete in registry. Then install the latest Catalyst 13.1 after a reboot.
An example of removal utility, Driver Fusion
(*the free clean step is enough for deleting AMD files before it prompts with charges to the next step)"

After doing this UNINSTALL BLACKOPS.

This got rid of the intermittent freezing which made the game unplayable or unenjoyable.
