My controller is a 360 pad aswell.
Try to fine tune the software to suit the game.
Sorry can't be any more help.
How can you say that it's not problematic when you're using emulation! ><
lol, just saying you should play around with the emulation software to try and get it to work properly.
Just thought it might not have occurred to you that you may have to do that. Other than that, try a supported gamepad to rule out there is something wrong with your install.
Good luck!
My controller can pause the game and operate menus fine, but for the actual game it can't function at all.
Would you happen to be using a wireless xbox controller? If so, is the wireless dongle an original MS one? Because there are quite a few knock offs that are very official looking but could potentially have compatibility problems.
I use an official wireless controller and dongle, and for what it's worth, I have absolutely no input issues like mentioned here! Windows 8.1, btw.
Hope you fix it!
I also made a steam group for DS4 tool users, although nobody seems to be using it very much.
1) Plug in the controller and open x360ce.
2) In the Presets dropdown menu, choose Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2 and press Load.
3) It will give you a preset button configuration but it will most likely be messed up.
- You need to manually swap the buttons to the correct button on your controller.
- My right analog was messed up and had to Record to:
Stick Axis X: Axis 6
Stick Axis Y: lAxis 3
4) Every game that had a problem worked with this config. Let me know if it works for you guys!
Also, I don't know if it's the game or my crappy Chinese controller, but I absolutely HATED all minigames that used the analog sticks (Calibrating hack, karaoke, lockboxes). So infuriating
What controller are you using?
I know it isn't a controller fault cause there's no problem like this in other games. Only in Sleeping Dogs...
