Endless Mode Guardians
I've been playing some endless mode recently, and I haven't been using too many guardians because I know that you don't get any Go breaks after level 25 or so.

Do guardians still get periodic revivals after that point, or am I SOL if a guardian dies at that point?

EDIT: It appears guardians do indeed stay dead and also take up a guardian slot :( However, You can use the guardian trinket or buy health regen upgrades for the archers to keep them alive longer and resurrect them. I wish they'd revive on their own, though.

Guardians will be useless on later waves, because mobs become too strong.

Yeah, I realized this soon after my archers kept dying ever other wave from lightning flyers. I managed to get to wave 42 without guardians, so I think I'll shy away from them in the future.

If you want to use guardians for endless mode, I say you should use dwarves. Having an army of dwarves are really good. They can clear mobs real quick. To make them last longer, just find the ones that are weak so you could sell them then just put up another one. If you're looking for more survival and wanting to use guardians, the guardian trinket is highly recommended.

Guardians are almost essential on endless. You lose go modes but the rounds take so long the trinket cooldowns over the course of each round. However, guardians are only effective if they have a line of slows, and stun traps in front of them. Paladins are useless against strong mobs since all the guardians die quickly later anyway. Health regen on them is also useless.

ANother good defence for guardians on endless is to place them behind teleport traps so that the big creeps that get close enough to hurt them get sent back regularily to repeat the gauntlet (and hopefully leave you some coin). Wind belts help with this too. As does ice amulet (for slowing progress) and tar traps are always good.

Just expect to lose most of them every wave late and have to revive. Plan accordingly. Place them where they can do the most damage, not where they have the best chance of surviving.
