"CLS on standby..." Look familiar? Quick tip:
I just figured somthing out that's been making me pull my hair out for a week. I have a massive complex pumping out various weapons/missiles/shields etc. I've tried to have a CLS ship constantly ferry the products to my headquarters but even when there was product ready to ship, my pilot would sit there on standby...... and then i found something.

Under "supply conditions" in the CLS menu, it defaults to a 5% minum freight amount on both pickup and drop off. Even though the station had 100% of the amount of the ware i want to transport, this 5% setting was getting in the way. I set them both to 0 and now my CLS behaves like it should. Ferrry back and forth, non stop, if there is even so much as 1 missile to pick up.

Hope this helps someone, because it's sure been driving me nuts!

Bonus back is a "must have" for anyone who wanna have a lenghty enjoyment out of X3, especially AP, as the CLS software is something no tycoon can be without. Make micromanagement so much easier, and gives you options long needed.

But cheers for the tip. I've seen my traders act a lil' "off" aswell from time to time, and yea, 0% does do the trick. ;)

Snowman... Well, it's highly complex compared to alot of other games. But fortunatly you don't need to learn EVERYTHING at first. Spend the first few hours getting used to your ship, and various missions from stations. Explore and get a feel for it. - Then later on, try purchasing a better ship, and go slowly... Expecting a frigat, and major battles right of the bat, is a misconception. - And when ever there's things that puzzle you, google it, or use this forum for answers. - Plus - You wanna install the bonus pack, which provides alot of extra functions for later on in the game, making it easier still... I've played this for a long time, and there's still thing's in this game im not familiar with... - Which is part of why this game's so great... You can play it for along time, and STILL find things to learn, which improves the game experience...

Warrior, fleet commander, buisness tycoon, explorer or pirat... You can go which ever way takes your fancy... The game im on right now, im going fleet commander... It's an epic journey, but costs loads of money, takes ages and alot of patience... BUT... It's well worth it...
