This is my mod list, what is yours?
(Sorry for my bad grammar and spelling, Im swedish and tired :P )
(I have played 30+ hours with this setup without crashes)
(these plugins is compatible with each other but needs some time and tinkering(5 hours of testing in my case) to get working, make sure to read all readme files and download required addons and compability patches)

This is my current mod list :

X Rebalance Mod (XRM) - Amazing mod. Adds a ton of new ships(over 200) and 50+ new sectors to explore. Rebalances all the ships(for the better IMHO).

Cockpit Mod v1.30b - Adds cockpits to all ships, the game become a lot more immersive!

IEX 1.5b - This fantastic mod revamps the look, mood and atmosphere of all sectors by changing to high quality backgrounds, adjusted lighting and a lot more. Highly immersive and recommended!

ImprovedRaces v. 15.31 - A must have mod IMHO. This plugin is able to initiate dynamic wars between races(depending on their notority with each other). Shipyards will produce assault fleets of different sizes, and use them to takeover sectors from their enemies, and regain control over lost territories. It also allows player to take control over sectors, collect taxes from AI factories and taxes from planets in the system (depending of their size and distance).

It changes behaviour of Xenon and Kha'ak, making them very aggressive and dangerous, also gives them new abilities. They are able to build stations in far corners of sectors and perform invasions from there. Because factories often get destroyed in the wars, shipyards will launch additional TL ships to build new ones. They will mostly deploy basic food/minerals/energy plants and Trading stations/Military bases but all stations is possible. (Use v.15.31(!) not the latest update, more options in v.15.31)

Pirate Guild 3 - Makes the pirates more intelligent and organized. Pirates can in time become more than a simple annoyance. The Pirate Guild HQ gives orders to the other bases. Each Pirate Base will now behave on its own, buying new ships(by a loot powered pirate economy), raiding TS, capturing ships, invading sectors. It runs very good with "ImprovedRaces".

Yaki Armada 2 - Yaki Armada will make the Yaki faction more interesting. It will spawn a configurable amount of Yaki MOBILE BASES (TL or M1) equipped with a jumpdrive and filled with Yaki Fighters. Each carrier run a script that allows it to do various things as sending a squadron to attack a factory, a TS, a TL, or a defense ship.

AI of those carriers has been improved so they can defend themselves when attacked and flee when in real danger. They will also repair, rearm and refuel at any pirate base when needed. Destroyed carriers will of course respawn after a random while. This also works great with "ImprovedRaces".

Phanon Corporation - One of my favorites, this plugin creates a new enemy faction, The Phanon Corporation, that is far more aggressive in its trading monopolization efforts than any existing known company. The Phanon Coporation will steal trade opportunities, and actively hunt down and destroy your ships and factories with M6 / M7 led fleets. As they gain more money, they will purchase capital ships to guard their HQ. Especially in later game, the HQ can be difficult to destroy, as the sector will be well fortified.

LIFE V.0.95b - Adds a lot of immersion to the galaxy. A open radio channel brodcast all radio traffic in the sector. A real time dynamic news system updating news about attacks, missing ships, trading and stockmarket news and more.

Adds explosion shock waves, these incorporate forces that accelerate ships, damage ships and provide screen shake. The NPC's are able to level up based on the number of kills they obtain, as an NPC ship levels up it's abilities(damage, speed, turning speed) also increase, with level 10 being the maximum.

No Ring Gate Mod - No more AI crashing into the ring of the jumpgate, this plugin removes the ring around the jumpgate and increases the size of the jumpgate by ~100 times(if not more). This increase in size makes colliding with ships less likely when entering or exiting the jumpgate.

Gate effect pack - Changes the texture and colour of the FX in the jumpgate, a lot of diffrent colours and textures to choose from.

NPC Bailing Addon - Makes it so AI pilots may bail from their ships during combat when their hull is severely damaged. The bailout chance is based on a combination of their morale, aggression and fight skill.

Salvage Commands and NPCs - Now you can run a salvage business. This plugin adds two salvager commands "Sector salvager" and "Universe salvager", as well as two utility commands "Strip all ships docked at..." and "Strip all ships docked here". It also adds NPC salvagers to your game to compete against. Works great with "NPC Bailing Addon".

Complex Cleaner - This impressive add-on facilitates the construction of truly gigantic complexes by "crunching" existing player-owned stations in a system into a smaller set of comparable stations (i.e. ten Solar Power Plant XL stations get turned into one "FACT Energy Cells (50)" station). It also improves framerates in systems containing these massive complexes by eliminating the connecting pipes between stations and, more impressively, by moving all stations inside one gigantic (easy-to-render) metal box(almost like a Borg cube).

Advanced Complex Hub - This plugin replaces the regular Complex Hub with one that can dock unlimited fighters, 20 freighters and 2 capital ships.

MARS Fire Control - This add-on drastically improves the intelligence of all equipped ships turrets, which now automatically choose the best targets to shoot at with the ship's available weapons and automatically equip the best weapon most likely to actually hit the target and cause significant damage, taking weapon range and speed and target speed and distance into account.

It also adds advanced drones, "Goblins: your obedient minions", which do everything from flying decoy missions against enemies (to increase the number of targets they have to contend with while the player attacks) to gathering loot left behind in crates after battles have ended. They can also handle missile defense (which is also improved for turrets by this add-on).

X3(AP) Bonus Pack - This useful collection of community add-ons includes things like Turbo Boosters, Commercial Agents and the immensely helpful Hephaistos Corp. Station Building Service, which removes most of the drudgery of building immense complexes (by automating the purchase and deployment of up to 125 stations at a time)

Cheat Collection Package - Cheating is BAD! ;) But not when you use it to recover from a stupid AI who stupidely crash into a asteroid with the flagship of yours and explodes into a ball of fire. You quickly can restore the ship with this plugin and continue playing... or you could go nuts(!) and spawn 100 Kah´ak ships and 100 Argon ships in the same sector and let them fight it out while watching the fireworks, sometimes cheating is fun!

EDIT(Thanks Kilrathii!):
Forgot one great mod

CODEA Weapon System - The CODEA Weapon System coordinates attack and defensive fighter squadrons, and performs a systematic attack or counterattack. Launching and docking fighters also is much easier. The fighters repairs in the ship hangar if you got the right resources. This make carrier so much easier to handle and your fighter losses to a minimum.

(I stole some parts of the descriptions from X forums and other sites)

Yes...just say no to any ship that wants to trade with it. raise all the prices to the max and No body will trade with it.....not even your traders.

I am talking about AI not my own stations or ships. When the AI station doesn't have resources for a set amount of time it automatically recieves them after some time

That would break the economy of the game.

I have no problem with that. So as the player I could build facilites to help the AI
[XU]Cycrow 9 listopada 2015 o 8:13
No AI stations in the game generate their own wares, they already have to rely on ship delivering there resources. (unless you are using a mod that changes this).

The one exception is for solar power plants, which dont have the normal primary resource so they continue to create energy over time (as they dont have primary resources they dont need anything to continue production). If you wanted to stop this, all you would have to do is add crystals to their primary resource and they will act like the player version

This list is interesting but what is the load order of all those ?

Can someone edit the starting to thread to include :
1) all the tools needed to install them
2) the load order
3) what do you do if there is one that has an update ?

So people would not have to search through 200 replies

1. Use Cycrow's Plugin Manager to install the scripts. So you have an "all-in one" program that keeps track of what you've installed, their version number, etc. Wether the addons are in .spk format or just archives (you don't have to unzip them neither), which is really handy.

You can use almost all X3TC mods/scripts with AP, unless they've been adapted for it, so check first for the AP version.

About 90% of the most used plugins and mods are archived, in their latest versions, on X3downloads website (www.xdownloads.co.uk). Site is under maintenance due to a recent attack and being rebuilt. But you can go to the OneDrive backup they have:

https://onedrive.live.com/?id=E72F879570FF993E!1469&cid=E72F879570FF993E&group=0

Just explore the X3 Terran Conflict and X3 AP folders to find your favourite addons :-)

2. Load order is not really important. Some addons require to rename the <whatever name>.cat and .dat with numbers like 12.dat and 12.cat if you already have 11 files with numbers in main directory (which is .../X3 Terran Conflict for X3TC and .../X3 Terran Conflict/addon if you play X3AP. The Plugin Manager automatically renames those specicic files with the right numbers.

You can otherwise unpack the plugins manually and put the files in the /scripts and /t folders whenever needed. For AP, remember that you don't have to care of the "scripts", "t", or sometimes the "director" folders that are in the main root X3 Terran Conflict folder. They need to be at least in the X3 Terran Conflict/addon subfolder.

3. If one is updated, reinstall it manually or with (better way) the Plugin Manager. And as I already said, as most of the plugins are archived on the previous site, you don't have to search everywhere.

New mods I use:

For Traders:

- Free Jumps for AIs 1.4.04 coupled with EmergencyJumps 4a so my Universal Traders keep safe when stumbling upon ennemies when they visit some heat border sectors.

- Jump to Me 1.0 is also useful to gather ships in a sector.

- Mk3 Optimzed 1.8.9.7 fixed, so UTs are even more smarter while travelling and trading.

- UT profit, to see how much each trader has gained while working autonomously.

Navigation / Exploration:

- Galactic Explorer 1.9.8.12 coupled with Gal Ex spawn mod0 so I can send (preferably a fast interceptor) a ship to map the universe early in a game.

- dock lockup fix
- safe undocking
- bounce 1.7, all useful to minimize accidents at stations, and bounce is a must when you start getting in huge battles, reducing by around 100 times the collisions between your ships and with other objects.

I've used several of the mods listed and loved them. I really like XRM and IEX together.

I'm playing Litcube's Universe now and I love it so much that I probably won't ever play vanilla X3:AP again. LU is new vanilla for me.

Hey,
after many years I'm returning to the x universe. In the egosoft forum I only find Revelation by litcube. Was that mod meant?

I also can't find the IEX mod.

I've been searching in this list
https://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?f=94&t=216690

Anybody can help me?
