EQ2 to EQNext

Anyone else getting the same idea as me to wait for EQNext and lay off EQ2? Play some of these blasted games on steam and wait for what will hopefull supercede my beloved EQ2.

if you like EQ2 check out Rift, I believe many people from the original EQ were also involved in Rift's developement. I am bored of Rift and am now playing EQ2 lol

I dont think you are correct...you must be thinking of Vanguard. Rift is more like WoW instead of EQ1. It is a good game but EQ2 is still the better of the two.

I say play EQ2 and meet some friends so you have players you know when you go to EQN

Just the opposite. I haven't thought about EQ in years, but the EQNext announcement rekindled my interest in Norrath and I started up a new character.

At the moment we do not know how far away the release of EQN is, though I suspect that we will see it late next year. Until then I will keep playing EQ2 and as long as the devs keep releasing the expansions (as they plan to) I will have plenty of things to keep me occupied :)

I never played EQ1,2, but after EQN debut, decided to give a try. Just for time consume sake.

EQ2 is a lot of fun. 1 could be a bit daunting if you have never played before...lol We have an active guild on Permafrost. Look for Lolaine or Cripster

Just got back to Norrath. Couldn't decide whether waiting for EQNext release or keep playing EQ2. EQ2 provides really good RPG experinces. But EQNext features are so tempting.
