Patch broke dlss quality
After today's patch, the game visual is screwed up. With Dlss on QUALITY, at a resolution of 4k, the game is a blurry mess. Before patch it was almost the same of native, now it seems at 720p!!
PLEASE FIX IT ASAP

Can confirm, after the update the game looks now blurry & jittery like hell, although everything is set to the highest setting. Doesn't matter if I enable/disable DLSS & FrameGen - looks like it's rendered internally now with 1280x720 or similar. Hence I reset all settings, but with no success.

Hey,

i own it on ea app. i have the same issue. After the patch everything is blurry. All options set to the highest possible.

So much to the next patch fixing the frame generation ghosting :^) Instead we make the game look like on consoles at all times lmao

Hey,

also now i have some weird rendering issues close to the player depending the perspective. Without DLSS the performance now is unacceptable. Before the patch is was much better for me.

Guess they had to break DLSS even more before they bring in their FSR 3 sponsored implementation :p

This is embarrassing

Yep, patch destroyed image quality.
MIDKNYT Sep 4, 2023 @ 8:58am
It not only wrecked the image quality for me, but also wont let me change settings in the menu. if i tried to change screen aspect, turn off frame gen or dlss quality it would crash to desktop with a P3 crash report. I've already been through this before last patch and fixed it but i had to restart the game. im not doing that again and will request a refund.

ok, now i can finally play on 4k resolution and max settings but the graphical quality looks worse than on high settings and 2k resolution BEFORE the patch.

At least its a common thing for everyone.
So we got now console graphics on PC?

Yeah, they have "optimized" the game so it can run on more hardware. Haha. This is so bad.

I also have the PS5 version. To be honest, PS5 looks better now than PC version post patch. I'm sure it will be fixed but this is embrassing.

I fixed it by deleting my config folder in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\P3\Saved\Config

After the reboot it looks fine again. Possibly the patch touched some variables in there or something.

Unfortunately didn't worked for me.

^Deleting the config files didn't work for me, either.

it looks like the sharpening part isn't happening. i wonder if dlss is broken completely. has anyone fiddled with swapping dlss versions?
