Let's Discuss Dwarven Battle Turret
What do you think of this mob especially? My Outlander and my Embermage get downed so freaking often by them it's not funny anymore.

Sure, they're both Glass Cannons but in most of the cases I can avoid enemy attacks and have downed them long before they can put a scratch in my armor.

But the Dwarven Battle Turret in my eyes is so overpowered for following reasons:

1. Already ONE of them is depleting your Health Gauge down to 0 in 4, 5 shots
2. Goes along with 1: They often come in 3 or 4 at once, not to mention accompanied by other mobs which sometmes avoid to take care of the DBT first.
3. If one downs you and you resurrect in place he can shoot you down again just fine before you can start ANY action on yourself (and as said above, most of the time they're more than one)

Of course I'm aware it's an Endgame Mob, but still, I think the battles against those are a bit unfair and that they're way too overpowered, especially I encounter problems I encounter only at those.

So, do you have found any effective Counterstrategies and find the DBT too powerful as well or do you have another opinion? Let me know please! :)

Berserker - Use either Savage Rush or Ice Shield. Savage rush is the werewolf form and can keep you on your feet and Ice Shield reflects almost every bullet back.

Engineer - Forcefield. That is all.

Outlander - Shadowmantle skill. It's like Ice Shield for Berserker. Outy's are master of keeping their distances....

Embermage - Immolation Aura to reduce damage. Frost Phase to teleport out of danger when you need it. I highly recommed using Infernal Collapse or P-Bolt from a distance to deal with them.

General Advice - When you see a Turret, machine gun or mortar, it's usualy a good idea to move back and destroy it from distance.

The bloody things down my 'zerker on a regular basis, too. Mostly when they're companions to a boss or major champion - I can usually handle them on their own, or even in a mass of other regular enemies, but pair them with a boss, and I'm going to die at least twice.
Skull of Riechlu solved all problems relating to my Outlander and this terrible mob.
Drop a Stone Pact just in case, hurl Cursed Blades, and strafe as best as you can (the order may vary). My Outlander's relying on poison, and this is surprisingly effective against armored/shielded enemies like this.
I hate these things. One of them can kill my Outlander in a single volley. The worst part is that they start shooting at me while still off-screen, so I usually get killed before I even know they're there!
I have a cannon-wielding Engineer. I didn't find these a big broblem on Normal. Used level-9 or 10 Blast Cannon skill liberally to take these out from a distance. My character also had Dwarfking set armor w/ some Ironlord set pieces at the time giving me a total of 40% of weapon damage health steal and ember w/30HP/s regen :) Oh and my cannon also has a 2-second Silence ember on it. Go in loaded for bear, I always say...
Just completed the game on Normal for the first time. The turrets in the Broken Mine are nastier than those in the Sundered Battlefield/Ember Works levels. Got me with my pants down a few times. FWIW, I played the Broken Mine with dual wielded Scalebane axes (2 of them), so did not have a missile attack available, although in hindsight I could have switched to my cannon as my alternate loadout. Whenever I saw the turret(s), I would rush in and try to take them out first.

@Kobalobasileus, are you playing zoomed in at all? Could be why they have the drop on you early from the screen edge.

@Kamino Neko, Suggest that you equip a minion summons to help draw fire or attack the mobs. The Engineer gun bot is a huge help. Maybe some Zombies or multiple Skeletons to add numbers. My pet has a Nether Imp and I have Zombies.
I disregard all others until they are destroyed.. they dont take alot to get rid of.. worst set up is when they are on an upper tier shooting you down below have to get out of range quickley.
