Thie first Torchlight played fine with a controller on Xbox. Some people need to mind their own business and let others play the game the way they want.
I'd like to play it like Sacred 2 on XBOX 360 (so it's as if you play Skyrim with a top down view).
The lack of controller support is the only reason I'm not buying it.
