It's not about "need", but I personally feel that most people's obsession with the e-peen meter has more to do with perception then actual benefit. Consistency (Frame pacing) is far more important then peak #'s
This comment did not aged well. Now, 2022, i have 240Hz monitor & RTX 4090. 60 FPS cap remover is indeed necessary for those who have beast system like me.

You can set te minimum and maximum FPS generated by the game.
Just go to Documents--->WB Games--->Batman Arkham City GOTY--->BmGame--->Config--->BmEngine.
Once you are there, look for [Engine.GameEngine] It should look like this...
