Game Closing When Loading Finishes

Hi,

I finished all the main missions. I started to doing side missions. So i take a mission named something about "undercover cop". I came to the door of a museum or someting. I knocked the door. A police officer looked from the door hole. After that he said "The door is unlocked Batman". So i opened the door and game crashed. Nothing appears. Just closing the game. Every time i try to load the game. The game closes after loading screen. How can i fix it?

Try disabling PhysX from inside the Launcher.

I'm the sole responder thus far, no need to quote. Upcoming advice could get really long and detailed; we only need to see it once. It's just easier and neater to read a direct response.

Try the following in separate stages so you'll know what did or didn't work. First, patch and verify the game:
1. Select game in Steam Library, right-click Properties, then Updates to choose Automatic Updating and to Allow Background Downloads.
2. Select game in Steam Library, right-click Properties, then Local Files and Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

Second, disable DX10:
1. Locate DefaultEngine.ini: Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Batman Arkham City GOTY \ BmGame \ Config \ DefaultEngine.ini
2. Open DefaultEngine.ini with NotePad
3. Locate "AllowD3D10=True" and change True to False
4. Save file and restart computer

Third, save crashing is usually a PhysX thing. Make certain PhysX is still disabled and restart your computer before testing the game. You might need to reinstall PhysX. Let us know your results.
