How was the QWTF Pyro?
I've done some research to see if he was as "good" as the one in TFC or if he was even better, but everything I have read about him so far was mixed, so I'm asking.

QTF and TFC were very very simmilar - Just imagine playing Pyro on a much less sophisticated game engine.

That's what I believed, until I read from different sources that the QWTF flamethrower was a very powerful weapon, and that you could see Pyros defending at pro-level matches.

Also, the fact that they are differences both games is a good reason to doubt; who could have thought that the QWTF double barrel shotgun was only good enough as a secondary weapon when you see how good the one in TFC is?

The pyro in team fortress is very strong up close. His flamethrower is little more than a reskinned quake lightning bolt that sets people on fire.

In classic, his incendiary rockets bypass armor, which makes up for the nerfs to the flamethrower. Unless you can put down multiple damage zones, it's primarily good for dominating the more fragile classes. If you're good at jumping, and you've put them on fire, heavy and sniper are very easy to outplay, but it takes forever to kill heavy with the flamethrower. Default to incendiary rockets.

I would assume he didn’t change much it’s a guy with a flamethrower which in the long run can’t really change a whole lot
