Nuverse is owned by ByteDance, who owns TikTok. The entire ByteDance umbrella was banned in the US, not just TikTok.
Damn didn't realize the Steam version would be affected by this too lmao.

Basically this.

So we can't play Snap anymore unless they somehow find a way to quote, unquote "restructure" their game.

Absolutely hilarious. Don't forget, ByteDance was given the choice of getting banned for staying a puppet to China or to become an American company. They are not victims. They literally chose death.
First they came for tiktok, and I said nothing...

The biggest stake holders of ByteDance are American. One of which donated $100,000,000 to the GOP.

According to the attached picture on this linked post they are at least looking to restore service to the game for us here.

So this will *hopefully* be a temporary thing. Still going to suck for the short term though.

This is literally just the beginning. In the bill that past to allow this to happen, it was to set precedent to go after ANYTHING that is "deemed" a national security threat. Look into what they did to Tencent. Its next along with all of the entertainment they are a part of.

This makes literally no sense that they banned either TikTok or Marvel Snap.
Fine: If you are worried about security threats, ban these apps on government phones and don't allow private phones in government facilities that are sensitive.
Don't ban games and apps on nonsense 'security concerns' that are more "Harass a big trading partner because they will not kowtow to us in every single situation!"

The OG owner still holds a golden share and is 100% a stooge for the CCP.
Trump has already talked about pushing to overturn it. The main companies have also said they have already talked with him. This is just the last administration causing problems before they leave.
