Suggestions and criticism
Aight gamers, it's time to complain about an EA game and hoping dev will take notes and maybe change something.

1) Tone down jumpscares or get rid of them entirely. It's not enough to just turn on "no jumpscare mode" because scripted ones happen a lot, and they are mostly annoying rather than scary. In normal mode during a stream It was annoyed throughout the entire experience, I was literally screaming "jumpscare me, jumpscare me, it didn't happen in a while"
2) Make more safe-rooms, but you have to finish a puzzle or an obstacle course to unlock them, maybe find a specific item (like a board to put above endless pit)
3) Instead of a paint gun that allows you to pain on walls (which is a cool feature because you can draw d!cks) add a pencil that would allow you to make markings on the map. I tried to use pain gun in order to mark places I already been to, but places can be easily distinct from one another, so I just ended up hiding in a locker and stating at the map.
4) Make more entities that roam around certain places in backrooms . Timmy is cool and all, but he is easily controlled by just dropping a box or stepping into a rubble. I'd love to see a version of the mob from the mod "Total Chaos" the SCP 173 wannabe basically, but what is different about the mob, it's not too fast, you can hear it moving while it's out of your line of sight, and it stops at corners, so it creates a feeling it's watching you. Make it roam the Red Room area, that would be sick.
5) Add the ability to bind map to a specific key, because I either couldn't do it because it's impossible, or because I'm an idiot.
6) Add more chase sequences. I understand that having one as a "hide in locker" tutorial is fine I guess, but you need something that creates a sense of urgency out of blue.
7) Add the ability to bind leaning to mouse buttons, because when I played another Backroom game, Backrooms: Survival, I remapped leaning to additional mouse buttons, and it was so useful.
8) Adding features like sanity or hunger or thirst could be useful. I know it can be looked at as a chore and game's story doesn't support that because you are literally in purgatory but it would add more stuff to look out for. Low sanity for example could add auditory and visual hallucinations.
9) If you keep the paint-gun, add puzzles where you have to write down a specific thing on a wall to progress . During a stream I entered a classroom where is a box locked by a number lock. Wall nearby has "Combination" writing and three empty boxes, I literally wrote the code in these boxes, so make you fill these boxes with paint-gun in order to unlock the box, that would be different and smart, an actual puzzle, duh.
10) Add almond water as a healing item. 100% best addition to the game.

Also, why the game is called "The Backrooms 1998 - Found Footage Backroom Survival Horror Game" when it can be just called "The Backrooms 1998"
